SMCC Athletics

SMCC is home to 18 State Championships, 15 State Runner-Up Finishes, 94 Regional Titles, 146 District Championships, and 212 League Crowns.

The goal of the athletic program at St. Mary Catholic Central High School is to contribute to the development of the Christian individual. Through our interscholastic program, we attempt to provide the guidance that fosters industriousness, loyalty, self-respect, fairness, respect for others, perseverance, and excellence. We believe  that a good athletic program develops young men and women the school and  community can be proud to have represent them. This is true not only in competitive events, but also in the classroom and in their contribution to the community.

SMCC feels many values are associated with athletic participation and success. Athletes accomplish much more than physical development. The athlete has many responsibilities as well. He or she must represent the school in a manner that models SMCC values.
