Alumni Association

Welcome Home, SMCC Alumni!

St. Mary Catholic Central High School is a heritage school formed in 1986 through the merger of St. Mary Academy and Monroe Catholic Central.

Our roots run deep in Monroe’s Catholic education tradition: In 1846, the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary founded St. Mary Academy. In 1944, the Brothers of Holy Cross came to Monroe to staff Monroe Catholic Central, an all-boys Catholic school established by the Archdiocese of Detroit and several local parishes.

Together, these legacies continue through SMCC’s commitment to faith-filled learning and lifelong service.
