School Bus Drivers and Transit Van Drivers

St. Mary Catholic Central is seeking full time and casual drivers to cover school day and extracurricular transportation runs. SMCC utilizes a mixed fleet of full size, standard yellow school buses as well as an emerging program that makes use of a fleet of EV and Hybrid Transit sized 10 passenger vehicles and electric minivans.

Standard  school bus drivers are required to hold a Commercial Driver's License and Air Brake Certification. Experience and licensure preferred, but SMCC is willing to train and will cover all time and expense during training for prospective drivers. 

Transit and minivan drivers are only required to hold a chauffer's license and complete safety and training course provided by SMCC.

Kitchen/Cafeteria Assistant Positions

Our third party cafeteria/lunch vendor, has part-time positions open to work in our school kitchen/cafeteria for the 2025-26 school year.  Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 10am to 2pm.  Please contact Julie Wilson at (734) 241-7622 or jwilson@smccmonroe.com if you are interested.
